Jamie Webb

Jamie Webb is Managing Director of the Global Philanthropists Circle (GPC) at Synergos, a network of philanthropic families working on social challenges through collaboration and shared learning. He works with ultra-high-net-worth philanthropists, connecting them with peers and helping shape collective initiatives. He also advises philanthropists independently through JW Philanthropy, on setting up foundations and social ventures, giving strategy, governance and partnerships. He recently completed an MSc in Philanthropy, Grantmaking and Social Investment at Bayes Business School. His research looked at why entrepreneurs and business leaders are increasingly setting up operating foundations rather than traditional grantmaking ones — building on over twenty years advising philanthropists and foundations in the UK and internationally.
